7 p.m., Thursday, March 10
Many turners know the basics of turning and assembling a pen. But what if you want to make a few of the same kind of pen?. What are the secrets to scaling up your pen production to make ten, or one hundred pens, with the least wasted time and energy? Brian Geffre is going to show us the methods he uses to mass produce pens.
Bring a friend, and bring something for Show and Tell! We’d love to see what you’ve been working on!
Our meeting will be at “In the Chips” located at 303 21st Street North in Moorhead, just north of Burger King and the Coca-Cola Plant. Plenty of parking on the North side and on the street. As in the past, we’ll start gathering at about 6:30 p.m. to socialize, and the formal meeting begins at 7.
NOTE: The Extravaganza has been rescheduled for Saturday, April 2. Please contact Jim McTavish if you’re willing to demonstrate or help set up or clean up afterwards. Thanks!
IMPORTANT: We ask that unvaccinated attendees wear a mask or face shield (unless you have a medical exemption). Also, In the Chips are not currently providing coffee and treats; however, you are welcome to bring your own.
